Training CommitmentsGEM Training and Advisory Service will provide the training that you have booked in advance. All our training is relevant to current policy framework and guidance such as: Education Inspection Framework (EIF). Where we have encountered unforeseen circumstances, we will reschedule delegates booked on our training courses that could not go ahead.

Cancellation Policy1. All requests for cancellations, postponements and/or transfers must be received in writing by giving more than 14 days notice, a full refund will be made. If notice of cancellation is less than 14 days, no refund will be paid. 2. If instead of cancellation, a customer notifies us less than 14 days before the training of the intention to change onto a different training course, we will hold the prepaid amount and charge the customer an administration fee of 25% of the original booking fee. 3. The customer must select the training course they would like to change onto within 48 hours of notifying us of the intended change. If is not alerted within 48 hours, the initial booking fee will not be refunded and GEM Training and Advisory Service will not be able to carry out the change. All changes are subject to GEM Training and Advisory Service discretion and course availability.

We process your personal information so that it will be accessible by other members of GEM Training and Advisory Service and we can manage our relationship with you. Manage and make payments, refunds, fees and charges. How we protect your information. Your data is securely password protected and securely held on a server. Our website server is protected and regularly scanned for malware and viruses. We do not store any credit/debit card details. Who will we share your personal information with? Where information is held by third party, e.g. booking and payment systems, we will retain information for four months, please visit the websites mentioned in the paragraph above for their retention periods. Right to access You have the right to request copies of the personal information we hold about you at any time. Right to rectification You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal information we hold about you. Right to restrict processing You have the right to request that we restrict how we use your personal information. Right to object You have the right to object to the collection and use of your personal information at any time. Right to data portability You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal information in a legible and compatible format such as Excel or Word. Where the processing is based on consent or is necessary for contract and where the processing, we carry out is by automated means. If you choose to exercise this right, we will send you the data. Right to withdraw consent You have the right to withdraw your consent for us to use your personal information to send marketing information to you. Each marketing email that we send you will include a link which you can follow to opt-out of future marketing. How long will we store your personal information We will store your personal information for up to one month if you do not decide to proceed with our services and do not opt-in to receive marketing information from us. If you do become a customer/client of ours, we will store your data for up to one year from the date of the latest purchase of our services. If you do choose to opt into our marketing, we will continue to contact you via email until you opt out. All our emails contain an unsubscribe link. We may also keep the information longer one year where necessary for legal or regulatory requirements, where the information is required in connection with any on-going or outstanding claims or legal action. If we are unable to delete the information for technical records, we will take appropriate measures to protect the information from further processing or use and will only process for these purposes. How can you get a copy of your personal information? You have the right of access to your personal information. You can exercise this right by contacting us at admin@gemadvisoryservice.com. Letting us know if your personal information is incorrect. If you believe that any information held by us about you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to challenge it. If you do this, we will take reasonable steps to check the information. If the information is incorrect or incomplete, we will update our records accordingly. What if you want us to stop processing your personal information or the Right to Erasure? You have the right to request that we delete your personal information from our records. Please note that we will not be able to delete your personal information whilst we are still providing our services to you. We will be able to delete your personal information once you cancel the service or once the service is completed. The right to erasure, also known as “the right to be forgotten” and the right to object to processing, means you can request that we delete, remove or stop using your information, when there is no compelling reason for its continued processing. You can ask us to restrict the use of personal information if: It is inaccurate. It has been used unlawfully and you do not want us to delete it. It is no longer relevant, and you want us to keep it for the purposes of legal claims You have objected as described above and are waiting for us to decide whether we are entitled to carry on using the information.
